VMA is an electronic control system that facilitates maneuvers such as docking, anchoring and fuelling in restricted waters. With simple movements of the joystick, it efficiently coordinates all maneuvering devices, including engines, thruster, gearboxes, positioning devices, controlling the movements and rotations of the vessel.
VMA not only guarantees instantaneous and accurate maneuverability, it also allows the pilot to adjust the speed with which the boat performs the maneuver. Moreover the system’s continual automatic adjustments help the pilot to stabilize the direction of the bow, limiting possible unwanted rotations of the vessel caused by wind and currents.
